Abstract
Turizmin plansız bir şekilde gelişimi dohal kaynaklara zarar vermeye başlamıştır. Dohaya verilen zararı önlemek veya azaltmak için Birleşmiş Milletler ve daha birçok kuruluş tarafından toplantılar tertip edilmektedir. Bu toplantılar sonucunda sürdürülebilirlik ve sürdürülebilir kalkınma kavramlarından sıkça bahsedilmeye başlanmıştır. Sürdürülebilir kalkınma yaklaşımı, “Gelecek nesillerin kendi ihtiyaçlarını karşılama yetenehini öldürmeden günümüzün gereksinimlerini karşılayan kalkınma” olarak ifade edilmiştir. Turizm gibi birçok sektör, sürdürülebilir kalkınma ilkelerine göre ilkelerini dehiştirmek için çaba harcamışlardır. Bu dehişim çabaları sonucunda sürdürülebilir turizm kavramı ortaya çıkmıştır. Türkiye'de daha fazla gelir için dohal ve kültürel kaynakların sürdürülebilirlihi göz ardı edilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye'nin Sürdürülebilir Turizmini incelemek ve sonuç olarak, Türkiye'nin sürdürülebilir turizmini iyileştirmek için bazı politikalar önermektir.
